By the year 2025, we will have computers with memory
capacity and processing power to rival the human brain.
But will we know what algorithms to run on these powerful
machines?

In this presentation, I will review the known computational
structures in the auditory pathway and present real-time, biologically
accurate, high-resolution visualizations of the representations that are
computed at various levels, including cochlea, cochlear nucleus,
superior olive, inferior colliculus and cortex -- that is, movies
of what our brains do to sound.  I will also show a movie
of a real-time stereo vision system created by colleagues at
Interval.  These projects represent first steps in a comprehensive
collaboration between engineers and neuroscientists that will
ultimately result in machines with surprisingly human capabilities.

The Flow of Time and Money

In this talk, I will present a unified approach to managing time
and money.  Most authors treat the two subjects separately, when
in fact, they are really different expressions of the same thing.
I offer a unique and approachable way of visualizing how money
and time flow in our personal lives, in a way that easily illuminates the

traps of the poor and middle class, and shows how to successfully
navigate
through the 4 stages of wealth.  The purpose is to achieve a state
of balance and strength, in which our Life Assets (health, education,
relationships, organizational skills, and spiritual development)
complement and support our Material Assets, so that we can
have a fulfilling and prosperous life, and the resources to make a
contribution to the world.  These are the principles I live by, and am
using as I attract investors to my company, Applied Neurosystems
Corporation.

Dr. Watts has invested successfully in real estate, stocks, and
intellectual property licensing.  He holds a Ph.D. from the California
Institute of Technology, and is currently the CEO of Applied Neurosystems
Corporation.  He is an accomplished painter, musician, hang glider
pilot, photographer and public speaker.  Dr. Watts has been
giving this seminar regularly in Silicon Valley, and is the author of the
