CASI Academy is a platform designed for dedicated learners seeking to advance their knowledge of sustainable finance. It offers a comprehensive suite of high-quality content, covering a wide range of topics in sustainable finance, to meet the needs of learners worldwide, especially in developing countries. The platform is responding to the G20 Technical Assistance Action Plan (TAAP) released in 2023, embracing a holistic approach that ensures broad sectoral coverage while addressing the capacity-building gap and local needs in developing countries. With digital technologies, the platform can also provide online learning content in local languages. CASI Academy aims to provide 100 hours of content related to sustainable investment by the end of 2026.

CASI Academy is developing technical and practical content based on contributions from experts, partner institutions, and CASI members, and is supported by internal knowledge development and project management teams. To ensure the success and smooth operation of content development and management, we are seeking a motivated and organized Development and Engagement Manager. This mid-level role will be key in meeting the requirements below to support the cross-functional project management of the Academy. Key Responsibilities

1. Sourcing learning content contribution from subject matter experts and institutions, both in Hong Kong and globally: 

• Collaborate and coordinate with technical experts and institutions such as think tanks, research and academic institutions, industry associations, professional bodies, financial institutions, service providers, etc. to co-create learning content in the form of a 45–60-minute module (presentation deck and video) for relevant courses.

• Ensure timely engagement with and contribution from experts and external institutions across all the courses offered by CASI Academy.

 

2. Synthesising and drafting content:

• Synthesize technical materials contributed by subject matter experts and external institutions, and draft learning content that is fit for the purpose of CASI Academy.

• Identify gaps and address them through further enhancement of the materials by external contributors and/or the internal knowledge development team.

 

3. Coordinating content reviews, updates, and revisions:

• Source for and collaborate with external reviewers to review content, and ensure the incorporation of feedback into content.

• Work with the internal knowledge development team and relevant external partners to update content based on the latest policy, regulatory, and market developments and revise it if there are errors or gaps.

 

4. Supporting the cross-functional project management and learners’ engagement:

• Support the day-to-day operational needs of the project management office, including managing timelines of content development, review, updates, and revisions.

• Provide assistance to the development of partnership agreements with experts and external institutions.

• Assist in managing learners’ engagement and the global adoption of CASI Academy courses (business development) including accreditation and continuing professional development process.

 

Experiences and skills required

Writing Skills: Excellent writing, reading, and speaking skills in professional English.

Strong Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with technical content and knowledge materials, identify gaps, and make recommendations to address gaps.

Good Understanding of Climate, Environment, Sustainability, and/or Finance Topics: It will be highly advantageous to be familiar with CASI’s mission and activities, as well as the broader sustainable finance landscape.

Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work across teams and manage relationships with external experts and institutions. Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal.

Project Management Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects with attention to detail, timely completion, and effective coordination across teams.

Organized and Detail-Oriented: Proven track record of efficient task management, maintaining organized processes, and executing follow-up.

Preferred Experience: 4-6 years of working experience that can complement and add value to the key responsibilities above.

Preferred Education: Master’s degree and/or postgraduate professional qualifications from recognized institutions, preferably in the domain of knowledge relevant to CASI Academy.
