The Climate Transition Investing Seminar, jointly hosted by the Capacity-building Alliance of Sustainable Investment (CASI), the Green Investment Principles for the Belt and Road (GIP), and Neuberger Berman, will take place on December 19, 2024, from 16:00 to 18:00 Beijing Time (08:00 to 10:00 London Time). The event invites experts from asset management, banking, and research sectors to explore the multifaceted challenges and emerging opportunities in climate transition investing, a key pillar of sustainable finance.

The seminar will focus on addressing market challenges, such as the lack of standardized metrics, uncertainty in asset valuation, and limited investment vehicles for low-carbon assets; tackling technical challenges related to driving innovation in emission reduction technologies, improving energy efficiency, and exploring transformative business models; and overcoming policy and regulatory challenges, including navigating inconsistent regulatory frameworks and aligning financial markets with long-term decarbonization goals.
